SEAN TREACY
1845-1920

Sean Treacy was one of the leaders of the Third Tipperary Brigade of The Irish Republican Army during the War of Independence. With Dan Breen and others he initiated the conflict with an ambush at Soloheadbeg, Co Tipperary.

Treacy was shot in Talbot St. Dublin on the 14th October 1920.
